When the Amber Guard came to my town one day we saw a side of them that you barely ever see. When you see Amber Guard going down the street without the gas mask and without the goggles on there isn't a feeling of fear, no one ran, children went up to them as if they were just solders coming home. One of the solders picked up one of the children, I could hear their mother down the street quiver a bit and make a quite squeak in panic. Then the solder smiled, it was gentle, he put his helmet on top of the boys head and set him back on the ground. The little boy ran around the five men smiling saying to them that he wanted to be just like them when he grew up. The other children joined in. This was the most laughter and fun those children had in along time. I was glad for them, but something in my heart changed that day. I started seeing the Amber Guard as soldiers following orders not Heartless men in yellow. These men are the best at what they do thats why they are Amber Guard not that they don't have a heart or a soul. I do not know what to think about the orders they're given, but those men are good men.

That day they shared so much with my small town. I am glad to have met them.

Wanna hear a funny story?

So all this time (until just a couple days ago) I was utterly confuzzled about why the amber guard were coloured yellow. You see, all this time I was thinking amber was a dark red. I wasn't relating it to the petrified tree sap amber. So everytime I saw the amberguard I thought, "why are they yellow? shouldn't they be RED!! WTF?! I mean the captain should at least be red or something!"

So then I was having a conversation with my pops and somehow Amberguard got into the conversation and then it hit me. Amber is a dark yellow... not a RED!! XD Gahh!

"I see", said the blind man, "it's all comming back to me", as he pissed into the wind.
