You made this? :wow:
Do you do this for a clothing company or for sale on your own or just for yourself?

Lovely waistcoat pattern. :D There are few things as fetching as men in waistcoats! Also, I really like the way the bound hakama evoke zoot suit pants at first glance.

Thanks :D It wears very well with a vest as the sleeves are double layered while the body is only a single layer so ones arms stay warm without ones body getting too hot.

ah! that's great! SEE! that's what I've been telling people they should do all my life! Line the sleeves and leave the back thin! that's what makes sense. When it's your extremities that get cooler why on earth does every coat company decide to put the warm lining on the back and not the sleeves? so - yay! great design :D :D

Hehe, it's so true!
Don't forget the optional zip in lining that only adds more insulation to your torso. That's pretty popular too....
It's soooo much easier to add a vest than it is to add extra sleeves.

It strangely works. I have the sudden hankering to see this in navy blue with pinstripes. Maybe an Ascot tie. A nice fluffy one.

Hey yeah! Well there you go! Now did you make that hat too? it strikes quite a resemblance to the other fabrics. I remember Thom telling me about the suiting fabric he wanted to make a vest and matching hakama out of, but that the hakama were also going to be bound, like these.

Yeah, that looks great, the shape of the pants creates that pleated pant look of zoot suits and the lot.

do you have those shirts in production? I've seen you wearing a few...

Yup, made the hat too. And this is indeed the outfit I'd been telling you about.
The Shirts not in production yet, it's just easy to sew so I've made several.
