Description
For your Hakama to fit correctly your waist measurement must fall within the appropriate size range and your hip measurement must be equal to of smaller than the maximum hip measurement given for the size.
eg. For a Medium sized Hakama you should have a waist measuring between 31” and 35” and a hip measurement no larger than 42" to insure a good fit.

I know this is a very old post, but I'm wondering if the pdf with info on the pattern and how to make the twill hakama-- with pockets instead of slits-- is still available somewhere. I tried a few sites and came up with "can not be found" or "something went wrong" messages. Btw, thank you for making this info available. This is very very cool.
